"This Modern World" is a comic strip done by Tom Tomorrow, a political cartoonist. I've always loved his stuff.

Between mid-1999 and early 2000, my brother Lev and I did a 52-episode web series based on his cartoons. Dotcomix has these in Pulse Player format: www.dotcomix.com. It looks better in QuickTime, but it's a lot faster to download in Pulse.

Lev and I did this together in our usual way: Lev on soundtracks and prepping the images; me on assembling and performing the cutout puppets and scene setups. Kimberly Walton also did a lot of character builds and scene setups, and we got a little help from Olivier Wolfson and Youngdoo Yoon of SuperGenius3D.
